I was called out over the weekend to a leaky Franke Little Butler hot tap that was leaking quite heavily into the cupboard beneath the Sink, the cause of the leak was a split in the plastic pipe from the tank to the spout.
The main body assembly had to be removed from the granite counter to allow us to get at the spout, I was able to get the body off by loosening the retaining nut which was not easy as it was tucked behind the butler sink, the mains water had to be disconnected along with the main tank connections.

The main body was removed I was able to strip the copper from the body for sending of the the people that handle the warranties for Franke.

A call to Triflow Concepts Limited on 0845 313 5000 to get the fault logged and we got the spout sent of for the pipe to be replaced as this is covered by the Franke Warranty, hope it wont be to long.

This latest collection offers a range of 14 new tap design, four being of a traditional design. They are named the Rialto the Verona the Venician and the Vecchio.

The Verona taps features a curved spout with an conventional lever design and a spout reach which is 193mm, finished in chrome costing around £250. and around £312 for a chrome version.

Venician has an elegant swan neck design with a spout reaching 193mm another main feature is it white leavers. The tap is available in 2 finishes the chrome finish costing £260 and SilkSteel finish costing around £310.

The Rialto has a bridge type deign featuring traditional levers with a spout reach of 222mm. The Rialto also comes in 2 choices finishes the Chrome finish costing around £320and the SilkSteel finish costing in the region of £380.

Finally the Vecchio has a very sophisticated design comprising a curved spout and capstan handles. The spout reach is 194mm and like the other models is available in both a chrome and SilkSteel finishes which £270 for the Chrome version and SilkSteel option costing £330.

Franke have recently unveiled a new range of five taps called Filter Flow Taps they are all based around providing hot and cold water plus filtered water through a single tap.

Named the FilterFlow Mini the FilterFlow Doric, FilterFlow Olympus, FilterFlow Kubus and FilterFlow Corinthian all being available in both Chrome and SilkSteel. With the Kubus, Corinthian, Doric and Olympus having the additional benefit of a handspray.
